Description:
GitLab's Help page shows "Unknown" instead of a git hash. This is because of https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ce/merge_requests/19125 which changed the code that PKGBUILD is trying to patch. However with this change upstream finally added the functionality to read the commit hash from a file REVISION. Attached patch adjusts PKGBUILD to use the "new" way to install GitLab without a full .git tree.
