Everytime I use gmplayer I have a pop-up error window in which it is written: gnome_screensaver_control().

I just use xscreensaver and not gnome-screensaver and I think the patch you use is buggy. Also here is the console output:

Same here, i have build mplayer from ABS and edit PKGBUILD to take out the patch installation

I will remove the patch again, which is sad for those who reported the original bug.

MPlayer 1.0rc2 doesn't apply the patch, and it doesn't even seem to be available in CVS anymore so I think this can be closed.

Err, that's supposed to say 1.0rc2-1 (also -2 in testing doesn't apply it either).
