DetailsCurrently, lm_sensors depends on sysfsutils, but the latter is not needed. Indeed, CHANGES in lm_sensors source says:
--- 3.0.1 (2008-01-28) ... libsensors: No longer depend on libsysfs (#2262) ... --- Moreover, the INSTALL file does not list sysfsutils as a build or runtime dependency: --- Dependencies ============ Build-time dependencies: * GNU make * gcc * bison * flex * rrd header files (optional, for sensord) Run-time dependencies: * perl (for sensors-detect) * rrdtool >= 1.2.1 (optional, for sensord) * proper kernel configuration (see below) --- Hence, please remove sysfsutils dep.
