Details

The gtk-youtube-viewer.desktop file should be installed under
/usr/share/applications/
instead of
/usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/auto/share/dist/WWW-YoutubeViewer/

and the icon file in
/usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/auto/share/dist/WWW-YoutubeViewer/icons/gtk-youtube-viewer.png
needs to be linked/copied into
/usr/share/pixmaps

to provide a desktop file and icon for the application.
