It's gpu-context, not cpu.

Can you try again? mpv now works for me on Gnome Wayland --vo=gpu --profile=gpu-hq --hwdec=vaapi --gpu-context=wayland.

Works for me as well with sway (with and without HW acceleration).

It was fixed in a recent Mesa update.
