Hello,

I tried last week to get my Wifi to work using the howto on the wiki, then I realized why it did not work :

lshwd tells me that I have an ipw2200 when I have an ipw2100 (this was also what my old distribution told me).

I'm not really sure where the problem comes from though.

Thanks

Reason for closing:  Fixed
Additional comments about closing:  Should be fixed: updated table files in lshwd to the latest versions available at mandriva and/or redhat.
Note that lshwd is just an indication, udev does much better hardware detection nowadays.
