Details

Description:

octave can not start, and exit with these message:
/usr/lib/octave/4.4.0/exec/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/octave-gui: error while loading shared libraries: libgfortran.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

libgfortran.so.4 is in gcc-libs 7.3.1
octave needs a rebuild to link with libgfortran.so.5 in gcc-libs 8.1.0
