Details
Description: When creating a new encrypted container with
exFAT file system, Veracrypt fails with error message saying
that mkfs.exfat binary is missing. This is due to the
package exfat-utils has not been installed.
Additional info: * Package veracrypt-1.22-1 Steps to reproduce: Clean installation of Arch Linux as of today. Install veracrypt with "sudo pacman -S veracrypt". Try to create a file based container and select exFAT as the file system. |

Additional comments about closing: veracrypt doesn't depend on any filesystem binary now and just adding mkfs.exfat doesn't lead anywhere

This sounds more like a common sense thing. If you want to create
a filesystem, you need the tools for that filesystem no matter
what interfaces you're using.
