I wonder if we can remove line 73 in the PKGBUILD of cuda?
BTW, shouldn't we change 8.0 to 9.1 in lines 99-101 of the PKGBUILD?

If someone cared to actually test it, they would see that line 73 is still needed due to https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/55580 (which is actually mentioned in the PKGBUILD). You could have checked by just commenting out the first line in the /opt/cuda/include/host_defines.h file, even without rebuilding the package. I completely fail to see how it made it all the way to [community] in this state...

Also, why did you switch from gcc6 to gcc5 in the last pkgrel?

Yeah, that was a mistake. I meant to push it to [community-staging] instead but then mispushed apparently.

We sadly have to use gcc5 now because cuda and gcc6 won't work due to an nvcc bug: https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1028112/cuda-setup-and-installation/nvcc-bug-related-to-gcc-6-lt-tuple-gt-header-/
