Details

Description:
When I type in Tamil(tamil99(m17n)), characters get overwrite on some situation

eg:
In firefox, I get,
வனக்கம்
But in gedit, I get
வக்ம்
the character ன overwritten by க் and character க overwritten by ம்

And you suspect this is a problem with how it's packaged? If not, you should be going upstream.

I have a confusion about who is the upstream. should I report to gedit? or ibus? or m17n? this working fine in Firefox, but not in gedit or gnome-terminal
