DetailsAfter booting the Arch Linux ISO, the entire laptop fully shuts down (need to manually turn on with power buttton). Happens with both UEFI and BIOS/CSM boot modes.
This happens on ISO versions 2018.04.01 and 2018.03.01, but NOT on 2018.02.01. Photo with the last boot messages is attached. Laptop: Acer Aspire F15 (F5-572G) with latest BIOS version. |

Can you switch to tty2?

I tried the "nomodeset" parameter on the latest 2018.04.01 ISO, and the same result, shuts down on the same step (Reached target sound card). Both UEFI and BIOS/CSM boot modes.
I'm trying to figure out where this could be coming from.
Thanks.
Btw., I tried Ubuntu 18.04 beta 2, which uses kernel 4.15 too, and it boots without problems.
The issue still persists even in ISO 2018.05.01.
So these Arch Linux ISO versions were affected:
2018.05.01
2018.04.01
2018.03.01
