so packages: wxgtk and wxpython should just change their
Desciription and where they mention wxWindows that should
become wxWidgets [this is extra very low]

}
wxpython has been flagged out of date, so I will give Mr. Carvajal a few more weeks to update it, which should include these changes.
That way, it would be just one of them (wxpython) that contains both.
I hope to have a working pkg this week with gtk2 support.
thanks.
there is also a patch out there for wxWidgets .
here is a post of me, with the links in one place:
http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?p=34730#34730
if you think shipping wxWidgets and wxPython under ONE PKG, then you may want to include wxNET (wxnet.sf.net) and call that pkg wxAll or something like it.
ps. ok there are also other wx-bindings, but those 3 are most common [and have a bright future] :P
Thanks in advance man!
ArchLinux refers to it as wxgtk which is still common since it represents the underlaying linux toolkit. Therefore, I will keep the name. either package is now using gtk2 and seems to work fine. So I close this one.
