Description:
When resuming from suspension, gdm's lock screen is shown. After entering credentials Gnome desktop is shown and the system freezes.

Ok, so this is a Wayland bug. Using Gnome on X I get no freeze when resuming and unlocking the lock shield.

My mistake, also happens in Gnome under X (but in this case, the desktop is usable for a few seconds after unlocking)

I cannot reproduce this bug (gnome-shell-3.34.1 w/ X session).
Is this issue still present for you?
