Description:

The PKGBUILD specifies guile as an optional dependency but mu does not build its guile library unless guile2.0 is installed.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Clone https://github.com/djcb/mu
2. Install guile2.0 package on Arch
3. Run configure script of mu to see that Guile version is detected

Is it that "guile2.0" specifically or "guile" works as well?

That said, I'm not sure how to tackle this issue. Would it work if I added guile as a makedepend? Would guile still be optional then?

I would suggest replacing the optional package "guile" with "guile2.0". The "guile" package installs guile 2.2 but mu only builds the mu-guile library if guile 2.0 is present.

If guile2.0 is not a makedepend, the mu-guile library won't be built (unless I'm missing something). So I don't think we can keep it as a optional dependency.

Right, if guile2.0 is not present when installing mu, the mu-guile library is not built. So adding it to makedepend makes the most sense.

Done, sorry for taking so long.
Let me know if there is anything wrong (not on Arch now, I cannot test properly).
