I updated to 0.4.8 but 0.4.9-dev is just the git snapshot. Should we upload this to [community-testing]?

Well, it is either cherry-pick lots of fixes, leave the package vulnerable, or package a git snapshot.

This seems like a reasonable justification to package the snapshot IMHO -- how stable is it?

Another ten plus overflows and null pointer dereferences without CVE assignment and no python3 support.
