Detailsarhchlinux.org/packages contains the following code for Keywords textbox:
<input type="text" name="q" value="" size="30" maxlength="20" /> maxlength should be changed something like 35 or even 50, because not all package names fit there. On the other hand, archlinux.org/ uses the following code for Package Search textbox: <input type="text" name="q" size="20" maxlength="200" /> Here maxlength is too much. |
This task depends upon
because now entering >20-char-long package name (ie. gnome-keyboard-applet) in Package Search will not work anyway,
because it's then trimmed to 20 in /packages/ search results page and no package is found.
So I assume there is some maxlength limit in ther backend too.
