This was due to https://github.com/radare/valabind/issues/43

@anthraxx, looks like not only was this fixed in master, but they've released a new version with the fix -- so updating to the latest valabind 1.5.0 would fix this.

the real fix is on vala side, which requires vala 0.39.2 which was a development release so we need 0.40 which sits in gnome unstable. Right now we can just chill
