hm, I came across with this issue before, though it can be built without a52dec, as the current package just shows. It seems that in case another package is found the dependency for a52dec is checked and it fails then. The problem seems to be in a certain combination of packages installed.

I will have to investigate that through the configure script. Not much fun.

seems that a52dec is a make dependency only and doesn't result in real depends. At least it worked this way for the current build. Maybe I was mistaken in my former approaches to track things down. Make dependency is added, fixed in cvs, no rebuild necessary.
