start kde plasma session
open partition manager, type your password and click "ok" button
partition manager always says that the password is wrong

It needs root rights, it should be asking polkit which would then prompt you for the root password.

kdesu by default uses `su` for privilege elevation, if you want to use `sudo` you need to configure it: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sudo#kdesu .
