Details

Description:

The Exec entries in firefox.desktop use absolute paths. This prevents launching the firejailed version of firefox from DEs. Please change to relative paths that can be made dependend on $PATH.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Configure firejail for firefox by running ln -s /usr/bin/firejail /usr/local/bin/firefox
2. Run firefox from a DE launcher.
3. The launcher ran the /usr/lib/firefox/firefox binary, ignoring the firejail link.

Would probably cause a problem like  FS#53174  again, though.

Firejail can deal with it on its own:

man firecfg

sudo firecfg --fix

You should really install your own desktop files if you install your own Firefox version.
