Details

Description:
Plasma system tray icon is a white square. I assume the icon is missing. Icon is fully functional - can be clicked, etc.

Additional info:
* package version: keepass 2.38-1



Steps to reproduce:
- use KDE Plasma Desktop Enviroment
- start KeePass and watch the system tray

Hi, is this still happening? Also, are you using the "Use gray icon" option? I don't use plasma on a daily basis, but I was not able to reproduce this yet.

Yes, there was no change at all. I switched to KeepassXC, but I reinstalled the "keepass" package and was able to reproduce just the same issue again. And no, the "Use gray icon" option is disabled while acitvating it doesn't have any effect.

I'll try to reproduce it once more. But I'm using a VM, which might be affecting the results. Anyway, mono is know for having issues with icons. Are you using desktop effects on plasma?

Yes I am, but deactivating the whole compositor has no effect neither.

Ok, so I dug a little more and this seems to be a known problem in mono:

Since this issue is in mono I think we can close this one. I'm checking upstream to see if there's a bug report for this or not.
