DetailsThere is already Bazaar (bzr) 0.12 released, but latest version in repository is still 0.10 (version 0.11 was released more than one month ago). I have already mailed to Simo Leone three weeks after release of version 0.11, but he didn't answer. It was really important update (there were security fixes) and so is latest version 0.12. This situation is same like before (see my previous bug #5421), bzr package seems to be really neglected by Arch developers. It is really unfortunate, especially because Bazaar is in rapid development and every update is important.
I must also once more repeat my request for changing bzr package description from "Decentralized revision control system" to something more descriptive with word "Bazaar" in it (bzr is only name of executable, Bazaar is official name for the project and it is important for searches). I suggest new description "Bazaar is decentralized version control system" or something like that. See also bug #4650. |
