Description:
I notice a bug in kate 17.12.2-1, when I type the underscore character ( _ ) then I don't see it in kate, the underscore character is not displayed, to see it I need to insert a line break in kate Additional info: * package version(s) kate 17.12.2-1, language in archlinux : french * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: - install kate 17.12.2-1 - run kate - type an underscore character - you won't see it until you insert a line break |
This task depends upon
in my system the default font for kate is "monospace", with "monospace" I can't see the underscore when I type an underscore, I need to insert a line break in order to see it
the first test :
- I use the "hack" font, the bottom of the character is not visible
the second test :
- I still use the "hack font" but I have inserted a line break : the bottom of the character is now visible,
I use the "oxygen" theme for plasma 5, maybe this theme has a bug ?
see the screenshot in attachment
for example with size 9 : the bottom of the character is not rendered
