Ever since the last KDE Plasma update, the power button and brightness keys stopped working. They are recognized properly by the KDE shortcut system and if I manually kill the powerdevil process, systemd-logind kicks in and shuts my machine down when pressing the power button. Also, by using the slider (when clicking on the battery icon) brightness control is possible. I therefore conclude that 1) those special keys are recognized as such; 2) PowerDevil is running and has access to those keys (as it blocks systemd-logind); 3) PowerDevil is able to execute the desired actions. I'm using a MacBook Pro 11,1. Additional info: * local/powerdevil 5.12.1-1 (plasma) |
