Description: mate-applet-dock not working because of missing dependency "bamf".

I recently installed an arch linux box from scratch, installed xorg, mate, mate-extra and mate-applet-dock. But when I tried to add the applet to the dock nothing happened. I checked the syslog, where I saw the following error:

ValueError: Namespace Bamf not available

So I tried to install the package "bamf" (sudo pacman -S bamf), which solved the problem, because afterwards I could add the applet.

Solution: add the package "bamf" as a dependency for mate-applet-dock.
