Hello,
I am the maintainer of audit in community. I would like to propose to enable CONFIG_AUDIT in our kernel configuration. Seems like linux-hardened is doing this. If this is not possible I would like to propose to at least build the kernel with CONFIG_AUDIT flag and make the use of it possible via enabling it with kernel parameters on boot. What do you think? |

sorry I don't get what you want to say with the links.
The first links mentions a bug report about enabling AUDIT and making it possible to enable it via kernel parameters. So it's the same what I am proposing now and it seems like it has been fixed in December.
But your second link shows the opposite. Audit is still not part of our kernel and explicitly disabled. Why?
