Still cannot build.

FONTLOG.txt contains a HTML file.

I think, what you want to reference in PKGBUILD is the link to the raw
document:

This PKGBUILD inconsistently uses https://github.com/google/fonts/raw/ links in addition to the link schemes they would redirect to which are https://raw.githubusercontent.com/google/fonts/

But the FONTLOG.txt file is referenced by "blob" instead of "raw" which is indeed a link to the HTML-based repository viewer and not a download link.
