Details

Description:
fcitx is built with -DFORCE_ENCHANT=ON so when build time checks fails to locate enchant dlopen will be used
https://github.com/fcitx/fcitx/blob/0ee405a59795232c08cf0cc0b1bf20454fc4cb28/CMakeLists.txt#L261
so in config.h
#define ENCHANT_LIBRARY_FILENAME "libenchant.so"
https://github.com/fcitx/fcitx/blob/0ee405a59795232c08cf0cc0b1bf20454fc4cb28/src/module/spell/spell-enchant.c#L60
as enchant 2.2.1-1 provides
/usr/lib/libenchant-2.so
/usr/lib/libenchant-2.so.2
/usr/lib/libenchant-2.so.2.2.1
using strace on fcitx following sub processes
1640 openat(AT_FDCWD, "/usr/lib/tls/libenchant.so.1", O_RDONLY|O_CLOEXEC) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
1640 openat(AT_FDCWD, "/usr/lib/libenchant.so.1", O_RDONLY|O_CLOEXEC) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
So enchant support is not available in fcitx although it is listed as an optional dependency and a make dependency which is somewhat confusing as it uses DFORCE_ENCHANT=ON
This task depends upon
