Detailsxcdroast 0.98alpha15-3 recognises my "BENQ DVD LS DW1655" - DVD burner as a DVD reader (without burning capabilities) after autodetection. If I then remove it and add it manually (by entering /dev/hdc) it recognises it correctly.
At least one other person has experienced a similar situation (a DVD burner being recognised as reader): http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?t=24123 I'm guessing it's an upstream bug. |

Add the device by hand, it works for me ('1,0,0' for my machine)
