DetailsDescription:
The PC speaker is silent and no file names under "/usr/lib/modules/4.15.1-2-ARCH" contain "pcsp". A prior kernel had "/usr/lib/modules/4.14.15-1-ARCH/kernel/drivers/input/misc/pcspkr.ko.xz" and "beep" worked. Additional info: This issue is mentioned under <https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=234067> but is conflated with another issue that was solved while this issue remains. Steps to reproduce: Install the "beep" package and, as root, run "beep" |
