DetailsAfter upgrading the system yesterday I noticed that most icons disappeared in KiCad interface (these icons: http://afiskon.ru/s/f9/010df0bace_temp.png ). I'm using kicad-git and kicad-library-git from AUR so first I tried to rebuild KiCad - it didn't help.
I tried to start KiCad from the terminal and noticed that it complains: ``` /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/wx-3.0-gtk2/wx/_core.py:16629: UserWarning: wxPython/wxWidgets release number mismatch warnings.warn("wxPython/wxWidgets release number mismatch") ``` I decided to downgrade wxpython to the previous version (before the upgrade I did), 3.0.2.0-7 => 3.0.2.0-5 and surprisingly it solved the problem. The warning didn't disappear though, but it doesn't bother me. So apparently something was broken in the 3.0.2.0-7 version of wxpython package, or probably 3.0.2.0-6, and it affects external applications, probably not only KiCad. |
