DetailsDescription:
The command "tracker tag -t" (supposed to list tags) fails with the following message : Could not get all tags, 1.58: syntax error, expected variable (Which is quite not understandable to me - what can 1.58 mean in this context anyway ? Is it a reference to a library ?). I made shure to add a tag before issuing this, with "tracker tag -a important". Note that "tracker tag -d important" succeeds. The functionality never worked for me. I must say I discovered the tracker tag functionality lately. By the way, searching for a duplicate I found this bug report dating from july 2017 : https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=769198 - this Arch user complains about errors in GUI when trying to tag a file in Nautilus, using file -> properties. Nautilus file properties don't even have any such option in my installation (version 3.26.2-3) Additional info: * package version : 2.0.2-2 * icu library version : 60.2-1 * config and/or log files etc. : no specific config over this. Using GNOME3 as a whole, standard distribution kernel. Steps to reproduce: Issue the command "tracker tag -t". |

My system updated tracker to version 2.0.4-1, and now "tracker tag -t" does list tags. I can even see files tagged with "tracker tag -t -s SOMETAG" where SOMETAG is a tag list by "tracker tag -t". I can also tag files with "tracker tag SOMEFILE -a SOMETAG". Although I can't see how this could be used in GNOME, since I couldn't find any GUI using tags. But nevertheless, this bug is now closed.
