Description:

If you have a SMB (or other non-local) fs mounted, you can access it easily using Nautilus. But it doesn't appear in the sidebar of GTK+'s file choosing dialog. This is very inconvenient as one has to go through /run/user/.../gvfs/... to find the mount point.

This is a longstanding issue in GTK3 (works fine in GTK2), since at least 2014 (see the duplicate report mentioned in [1])!

Fortunately, this bug has already been reported [1] and finally also fixed [2] upstream!

[2]: https://git.gnome.org/browse/gtk+/commit/?id=0156c52a2cfcc92d89fd7958f639ad47f6891c7c

Would it be possible to inlcude this patch in Arch's gtk3 package?

Maybe the next maintenance release of gtk 3.22 is already on its way. If so, please ignore this report.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:

Mount a SMB (or other non-local) fs using Nautilus for example. Now try to load/save any file from/to that fs with any application that uses GTK+'s file choosing dialog. The mount point isn't displayed in its sidebar.
