Description:
As it is right now RetroArch is broken after installation due to the config patch. Most of the set directories are for user data but are set to system directories. When you start RetroArch initially you see a lot of black boxes. This is because assets are missing. Those assets aren't part of the current package but IMHO should be. There is a way to get them through the RetroArch: Update -> Assets. However, this does not work since the directory is a system directory. You'd need to be root. Bad idea. So you first have to copy the config over, change the paths. Then you have to download the assets through the broken UI. So at the very least the assets directory, possibly others, should be user writeable. The default is ~/.config/retroarch/. The assets could or maybe should be included in the package. Additional info: * package version(s) 1.7.0-2 * config and/or log files etc. Default. Steps to reproduce: |

Are you talking about the retroarch-assets-xmb package that's
already an optional dep?
