Details

Description:
There is a wraparound bug in the kernel which could
lead to memory exhaustion when adding an x.x.x.x-255.255.255.255
range to any hash:*net* types.

and the respective patch was tested successfully. Unfortunately the merging to mainline is still under review and can possibly take a while. We are still affected by the bug even without running the specified script.

It would be nice if you could include the patch into the kernel built until the bug fix patch is added to the kernel releases.
