DetailsDescription:
According to others AMD graphics cards like the one I'm using the AMD Radeon R7 370 card should be at 4.5 OpenGL but according to users on the forum OpenGL 3.0 is normal for the system and they stated I shouldn't worry about this but some games however still require adjustments to the launch options in order to get them playing with the open source drivers. Such as the "MESA_GL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=4.1 MESA_GLSL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=410 %command%" command line in the launch options. I would appreciate is my system would have and mention OpenGL 4.5 instead of the default 3.0 profile which steam keeps on defaulting to. I would love it if I don't have to configure the steam client to individually do those command lines in the option section and would love steam to automatically and properly detect OpenGL 4.5. Could this be looked into by any chance? Steps to reproduce: Use the open source drivers and then steam information in Help -> System Information via the steam client. |

Are the affected binaries actually supplied by arch? Have you asked the games developer to specify a profile so you do not have to apply a work around?
