I installed the mate-applet-dock package from the repository, and couldn't get it to launch in the panel. I was going to try the mate-applet-dock-git package from the AUR when I saw a comment saying that (unofficial) package was missing two dependencies: python-dbus and python-scipy

While the applet wouldn't launch before (I even went as far as to log out, and reboot, and it worked neither time), installing python-dbus and python-scipy made the package work.

Steps to reproduce:
On a system without python-dbus and python-scipy installed, install the mate-applet-dock package, and try to add it to the panel.
