Reason for closing:  Works for me
Additional comments about closing:  Works fine here with the current version. I do have some duplicates, but those are KDE .desktop files which are installed in random locations for random reasons. they're hidden by default.

report them upstream, this should be handle by the alacarte maintainers on gnome.org

Eugenia, it was reported by you before: http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/3635
Alacarte is still buggy after one year? Hmm... what its devs were doing all this time?

please submit these bugs upstream, i can' find them in bugzilla.gnome.org.

there are no changes since the 0.10.2 release in cvs, so try if the bugs still are around if so submit bug upstream.

Well, the bug with the unresponsiveness when I click a checkbox, or the bug when I click an app to enable it and then it shows TWO of the same icons, only happens on Arch Linux, so I am not sure if it's wise to submit it upstream.
