Hi

I just noticed that there are two packages for info files for emacs and gcc. The truth is that a lot of gnu software have their documentation in info files (flex, bison, gsl and much more) but there aren't info packages for them. Is this a design option taken by ArchLinux, or should I open bug-reports on all those packages that miss them?

I really think info files are important. For instance, the info file from bison and gsl are complete reference manuals, almost books.

TIA
Alberto

Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  Sorry, Arch has a stance that we don't include info files with packages. Use the comprehensive online manuals if you need them.

Arch does not include info/doc/html files by design (for most packages, but there are exceptions).
Take look at this feature request: http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/3459 there are many comments on this topic.
