Description:
Visiting a web page that is served with a Content-Type of application/xml crashes the tab.

chromium 63.0.3239.132-3
libxml2 2.9.7+4+g72182550-2

Steps to reproduce:
Visit the following web page in Chromium: https://www.khronos.org/registry/OpenGL-Refpages/gl2.1/xhtml/glEnable.xml

Additional comments about closing:  Switched to bundled libxml for Chromium 64.

Switching to the bundled libxml resolved the issue might be simpler than rebuilding libxml2 with --with-catalog=no passed to configure
unless it is certain no other package depending libxml2 does not use the catalog feature.
