sigil does not start, neither from .desktop file nor from command line.

I've just installed it, haven't tried any previous versions. My Arch is fully updated, x86_64.
This is the output while trying to run it from the command line:

Warning: libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile

Using Oracle Java 9?

Yes, but I have both jre8-openjdk and Oracle jdk 9 installed, and I've tried setting either as default using archlinux-java, it doesn't help.

The issue is not which one is the default, but simply having it installed

Ah, ok, it works now that I removed Ocacle's Java. Thanks! I guess since AUR packages are unsupported there is no bug here.

Well, the issue is that oracle java installs a browser plugin, and qt5-webkit automatically tries to load it (but it does not matter which java is the default, the plugin is still in the lookup directories).

That plugin is what is segfaulting, and taking down qt5-webkit (i.e. everything) with it. So this is a general issue with qt5-webkit applications.

...

Maybe the AUR package should not install that plugin, or something. Or maybe people should stop using and developing against oracle. :p
