Please build collectd with libudev support. This allows using the option UdevNameAttr for labelling values with their LVM VG/LV name instead of some relatively useless dm-123 device name which might even change after reboots. Additional info: * collectd 5.8.0-2 Steps to reproduce: Start collectd with the following snippet in the config: LoadPlugin disk <Plugin disk> UdevNameAttr "DM_NAME" </Plugin> It will log the following message: collectd[3493]: disk plugin: The "UdevNameAttr" option is only supported if collectd is built with libudev support |
