Details

Description:
Booted up my suspended machine, and was greeted by the normal user selection screen (sddm/ KDE).
I clicked my user and entered the first two characters of my password and it went straight to desktop.
I never completed the password, nor did I submit the password.

Running sddm 0.14.0-2

Are you sure this is sddm locking your desktop? Usually your desktop puts up a lockscreen before suspending, when you resume you will hit the lock screen.

My guess is that resume puts up the VT that sddm is launched on, and when you're about to enter password the VT is switched to your desktop that wasn't locked.
