Description:
Running ktouch results in an error concerning qml and thus the program fails to start:

As in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ktouch/+bug/1688233 similar problems are described, it might be a dependency error?

No, the ubuntu issue is unrelated. This is an upstream bug, probably triggered by a behavior change in Qt 5.10 (since kqtquickcharts itself hasn't had any changes recently)
