DetailsCurrently Flash 9 only supports ALSA for sound. So those who use something different (like OSS) don't get sound with flash. But I have found a "patch" for that: http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/Flash_Player:Additional_Interface_Support_for_Linux It takes about 4 seconds to compile and adds OSS support to flash 9, so I think this should be included in the flashplugin-beta package in Unstable.

but i leave it to the maintainer of flashplugin-beta to decide
Installing libflashsupport will enable internationalization, ssl support, and multiple audio outputs (oss being the only alternative to alsa right now.)
