once gtk-qt-engine 0.7 package is installed,
there is two entries for 'GTK styles and fonts' in kcontrol => Look and Feel:
one is in english
and one is in my locale (french)

if i rename the file /usr/share/applications/kcmgtk-xdg.desktop to kcmgtk-xdg.desktop.sauv the duplicate (english) entry disappears.

question: Why is there to dekstop files ? /opt/kde/share/applnk/Settings/LookNFeel/kcmgtk.desktop and /usr/share/applications/kcmgtk-xdg.desktop

but although the entry is in english, the panel is in french

This should now be fixed in upstream SVN.

this package also installs a file in /usr/lib/menu (?!?!)

anyway, i was still having this problem, removing the entry from the applnk worked for me, i wonder why that applnk dir is still around, time to get rid of it
