It seems that auto connect doesn't work with WPA2 protected network as reported here:

My experience with 1.10.5dev+3+g5159c34ea-1 seemed unchanged from the original problem, i.e. that auto-connect worked on a sample, open WiFi and broke on my home, WPA2-PSK-enabled WiFi (TP-LINK). However, today I noticed my system successfully auto-connected to my GS7 phone's WPA2-PSK-enabled hotspot.

Issue seems to be fixed for me with 1.10.6-1.

Issue still exists while connecting to Networks without and WPA2-PSK. It seems to be connecting fine with networks that WPA2-PSK setup.

I don't know if it is related but after 1.10.6 update autoconnection works but it is very slow.

Is this issue still valid with latest version of networkmanager?
