Detailsusing the -beyond kernel and madwifi-beyond 0.9.2-2. the card is recognized and device created in stock kernel with madwifi 0.9.2-2,
upon typing `modprobe -v ath_pci`, the appropriate modules are loaded, as indicated by dmesg. the card is also detected in dmesg, with a message "pccard: Cardbus card inserted into slot 0" the problem is that wifi0 and ath0 aren't created. maybe it's an issue with 2.6.17? |
