If the root login shell is set to /bin/mksh then removing the mksh package leaves the root account unable to login; this also applies to any other users who have mksh as their login shell. Steps to reproduce: Run `chsh -s /bin/mksh` as root then remove the mksh package and attempt to log in as root. I have included a patch to mksh.install that addresses this issue for my mksh-static package, the extra functions are "stolen" from the ksh93 AUR package so they should be good ;) |
