Description:
My Dell Precision 7520 laptop (running KDE) is configured to suspend to RAM when I close the lid. Reopening the lid should bring it back up. With linux-firmware-20171123.90436ce-1, when I open the lid after having suspended, the laptop boots instead of just waking up most of the time. Reverting back to linux-firmware-20171009.bf04291-1 seems to reliably solve the issue. Steps to reproduce: * close lid and wait a couple of seconds * re-open lid * see laptop boot from scratch Let me know what kinds of logs or hw-info you need... Thanks - cheers Urs |

I switched to the latest linux-firmware-20171206.fdee922-1 and tried to go through the suspend/wake-up cycle 10 times. I had no issues :-)
So it looks as if the current version provides the fix.
I will watch the behavior for a couple of days and provide another statement on Monday.
Thanks and best regards
